There are roughly 2.7 Billion people in world without proper sanitation, out of this 160 million exist in Pakistan.  Only 42% of population has proper availability of sanitation facilities but they cannot afford it. Nearly 45% of households have no access to hygienic living conditions and expected to go unattended due to lack of funds. Large masses suffering from infections due to unhygienic environment in hospitals, restaurants and other working places.Even though hospitals go out of their way to keep their environment antiseptic, the truth is a lot of bacteria remain. Patients touch their snotty noses, then their bed rails. Nurses  tend to patients, lean on those same bed rails, adjust dials and monitors that are later handled by other nurses who then tend to other patients. Germs get around, even when knowledgeable people do everything they can to stop them. Human error is one factor. It’s only natural that staff will occasionally miss a spot when wiping down surfaces, and there is a practical limit as to how frequently these surfaces can be manually disinfected; not to mention all of the chemicals that are being used in the process.
What if hospitals (the equipment, furniture, floors, door handles, light switches and other surfaces) could disinfect themselves? Well, that’s just what our latest invention does. We have devised a key solution to inadequate sanitation and poor hygienic conditions that are responsible for a large number of infectious diseases. Nanocides design and manufacture a custom self sanitizing surface which reduces the spread of infectious diseases by decontaminating the surrounding environment. Self-sanitizing Surfaces is a technology that uses normal daylight to nearly eliminate microorganisms on medical devices and high-touch, near-patient surfaces. The cleaning process is entirely automated; it can be carried out as frequently as desired with complete thoroughness. We offer innovative environmentally safe and self sanitizing surfaces to janitorial services, retail outlets and consumers.
